FAMILY & FRIENDS CPR
The greater the number of people who know CPR, the better someone's chances of surviving. Heart attack, drowning, or other problems may cause someone's heart to stop pumping blood. This is called cardiac arrest. If you give a person CPR right away, he is more likely to survive. Most cardiac arrests happen at home with family members. You can help a loved one survive by doing CPR.
PEDIATRICS CPR/AED/FIRST AID
This course provides a framework for learning basic skills that may save a life or prevent further injury of an infant or child. The AHA is dedicated to decreasing death and disability when an emergency occurs. The AHA believes that you can make a difference.
FIRST AID
FIRST AID is the immediate care that you give someone with an illness or injury before someone with more advanced training arrives and takes over. FIRST AID may help someone recover more completely or more quickly and may mean the difference between life and death. Most of the time you'll give first aid for minor illnesses or injuries. You may also give first aid for a more serous illness or injury, such as a heart attack or major bleeding.
BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS)
Welcome to the BLS for Healthcare Providers Course. With the knowledge and skills you learn in this course, you can save a life. You will learn the skills of CPR for victims of all ages and will practice CPR in a team setting. You will learn how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED) and how to relieve choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). The skills you learn in this course will enable you to recognize emergencies such as sudden cardiac arrest and know how to respond to them.Type your paragraph here.
