Hello! I’m John Pastor. I offer private chef services and event catering culinary services.
I am a Private Chef located in the Los Angeles California area. I earned a Bachelors in Culinary Arts as a graduate of the Art Institute of Santa Monica. I also trained under a Michelin star chef, which is the most coveted award that any chef aspires for. I provide services as far North as Santa Barbara and as far South as San Diego and surrounding areas. We cater weddings, corporate events, parties , birthday celebrations and more.
I have over 23 years in the culinary food industry as a highly experienced and talented chef. My extensive experience includes working as a personal chef for celebrities, as well as working with multiple top restaurants and hotels in the L.A. area. Reflecting this, my style is modern and fresh but based on classical European techniques.
I arrive at your residence one to two hours prior to starting appetizers and cook your three to four course meal. Please take a look at my versatile menus. I can modify any dish to accommodate specialty diet requests dairy free, keto or gluten free for example.
