Lancaster Community Center Announces Exciting Spring Break Week Programs for Families!
Lancaster, CA - The Lancaster Community Center (LCC) is thrilled to announce an exciting lineup of activities and workshops designed for the entire family this spring break, from March 25 to March 29. Located at 44611 Yucca Avenue, the LCC invites community members of all ages to join in a week filled with educational and entertaining events.

"The Lancaster Community Center's Spring Break programming is a shining example of our commitment to fostering a vibrant, inclusive, and family-friendly community," said Mayor R. Rex Parris. "These events are not just activities but are building blocks for creating lasting memories and learning experiences for our residents."

The spring break week will kick off with Free Play sessions available for children aged 5 to 12 years, running from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. In addition to these daily activities, the LCC has scheduled unique and engaging events for each day of the week:
  • Monday - Friday, March 25-29:
  • Free Play - Engage in imaginative play and creative activities during our Free Play sessions perfect for sparking joy and curiosity in young minds.
  • Free Lunch - Lunch will be provided for registered participants from Monday to Friday, and dinner will be available during the evening family events
  • Free Dinner - Dinner will be provided for all evening family events.

  • Tuesday, March 26: A vital Fentanyl Awareness Workshop will be available for teens aged 12 to 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., providing essential safety education. The evening will feature a Family Paint Night from 6 to 8 p.m., welcoming artists of all ages and skill levels.

  • Wednesday, March 27: The center offers another day the Fentanyl Awareness Workshop, and an opportunity to bond with local law enforcement during Coffee with a Deputy from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Experience the future of gaming with a VR Gaming Truck, available for ages 5 to 17, from 1 to 3 p.m.

  • Thursday, March 28: Discover the world of technology with a Lego Robotics workshop for 8 to 12-year-olds, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., and relax in the evening at the Family Movie Night, suitable for all ages, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

  • Friday, March 29: Conclude the week with another chance to participate in the Lego Robotics Workshop, encouraging creativity and problem-solving skills.
