City Seeking Vendors, Community Partners for Annual National Night Out Celebration |
PALMDALE, CA — The City of Palmdale is accepting applications from community organizations, non-profit groups and food vendors for its highly anticipated National Night Out Celebration. The annual event will take place on Tuesday, August 5, from 5-9 p.m. at Poncitlán Square, located at 38315 9th St. East.
National Night Out is a nationwide crime prevention awareness campaign that strengthens neighborhood spirit, fosters relationships between law enforcement and the community and sends a message to criminals that Palmdale residents will fight back against crime.
“This event provides an excellent opportunity for community-based organizations to connect directly with Palmdale residents,” said Mayor Richard J. Loa. “Participating vendors will gain valuable exposure while helping to improve our City’s public safety initiatives.”
The City will select vendors focusing on community partnerships and crime prevention awareness. This event is not designed for the sale of commercial products or memberships.

“National Night Out draws many engaged residents every year who are interested in building stronger community connections,” said Mayor Pro Tem Laura Bettencourt. “This offers vendors a great opportunity to have meaningful interactions that extend beyond the event.”
Vendor applications are due by July 1. Click here to apply, or visit www.CityOfPalmdaleCA.gov/PublicSafety for more information.
